Chinese Armed Forces to Participate in Pakistan's National Day Parade on March 23.

Chinese armed forces are set to take part in Pakistan's National Day military parade on March 23, as confirmed by Zhang Xiaogang, spokesperson for the Ministry of National Defense of China.

According to the spokesperson, the Guard of Honor from the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will dispatch a contingent to Pakistan in mid-to-late March to join the Pakistan Day Parade, following an invitation from the Pakistani military.

It's worth noting that this won’t be the first instance of Chinese troops participating in Pakistan’s Day Parade. They previously participated in the event back in 2017.

Military contingents from various other countries, including Saudi Arabia, have also been part of the parade in previous years.

Preparations for the Pakistan Day Joint Services Parade commenced last month. The Ministry of Defence had already reached out to ministries, divisions, and chief secretaries of the four provinces, Azad Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan, requesting lists of officials to be invited to the parade by February 15.

The parade is attended by top government and military officials, as well as representatives from foreign countries. Additionally, the general public also turns out in large numbers to witness the spectacle.
