Chinese EV Manufacturer BYD Partners with Mega Conglomerate for Entry into Pakistan


BYD, one of China's premier electric vehicle (EV) manufacturers, is set to enter Pakistan through a strategic partnership agreement w
ith local company Mega Conglomerate Private Limited.

At the BYD Asia Pacific Dealer Conference held in Xi'an, China, a partnership agreement was finalized. Liu Xueliang and Zhang Jie of BYD joined Mega's Aly Khan to sign this landmark document and set into motion a fruitful collaboration.

Liu Xueliang, General Manager of BYD Asia Pacific Auto Sales Division, pledged his company's dedication to offering innovative green vehicle solutions to Pakistani consumers and revolutionizing its automotive sector through cutting-edge EV technology.

Mega Conglomerate representative Aly Khan highlighted how the agreement could accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in Pakistan. He stressed the significance of developing sustainable mobility solutions across Pakistan.

As part of this agreement, plans are underway to open three flagship BYD showrooms by 2024 in key Pakistani cities such as Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. These showrooms will act as hubs to showcase BYD's cutting-edge new energy vehicle technology while simultaneously providing customers with seamless retail experiences allowing direct orders for EV products as well as convenient access.

Mega Conglomerate and BYD have joined forces to drive eco-friendly transportation solutions into Pakistan. BYD's expertise in electric vehicle manufacturing combined with Mega's local market presence is set to drive widespread adoption of electric vehicles for a cleaner future for Pakistan's automotive industry.
